Chin Jing Jie

Haven Wrap is a modern essence of constructing a bridge that not only covers the functionality, but also provides areas for individuals to relax during stressful times, an escape oasis with exquisite aesthetics. Based on the data collected, the initial design of the bridge was based on functionality only, for pedestrians to cross paths without endangering themselves. In addition to the site chosen, located near to hospitals, Outram Community Hospital and Singapore General Hospital, the atmosphere can be quite stressful and potential tensions for people. Hence, this led to my design proposal and programs, having cafes, seats and vending machines, to provide a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
